Events in your life or that of the recipient of the art are represented by small dots of coloured glass whilst the longer and shorter lengths of glass which flow throughout the piece remind us of the changing nature of our expedition through life; the path is never straight.

These artworks can be made from opaque, transparent, or iridescent glass. Iridescent glass is usually used for jewellery because it offers variable colour hues depending on how light is reflected in the glass.
